As usual, the simplest and fastest way to get an iOS update is using Over-The-Air updates. As an OTA delta update, iOS 6.1.2 weighs in around 12.8MB, and with a reasonable broadband connection your device will be updated in just a few minutes. Using Over the Air updates is simple:

• Open Settings, tap General, then go to “Software Update”
• Choose “Download and Install”, be sure to have at least 50% of battery life remaining on the iOS device before attempting OTA

Installing this update through OTA brings up a new Terms & Conditions agreement that surely nobody will read, tap “Agree” and be on your way. Using OTA is the simplest way to update iOS, but you can also update devices by connecting them to iTunes and letting it automatically update, or for more advanced users, using the firmware files outlined

Installous Lets You Search For Apps On Cydia

Installous is an installation package for jailbroken iPhone, iPad and iPods that allows user to install unofficial Apple applications. What Installous does is preview Apple apps before they are purchased. It is a free tool that can be downloaded via Cydia. Installous allows users to search for apps on Cydia and other app databases and once you find an app that you like you can download it onto your iDevice. Installous also automatically extracts the downloaded file and places the contents in the appropriate directories on your iDevice. With Installous users can also remove apps, undo specific system changes and update their currently install apps with the latest software version. Installous works in a similar way to Windows Installer but has been designed specifically for Apple devices.

As of this writing, the latest version of this popular app is Installous 5. It includes a significant feature which is the download support for BitTorrent. It also added various features like iOS 5 notification support, better filehost compatibility, and the standard bug fixes and optimization. There is no version yet which is fully optimized for iOS 6 as of this moment, so at this point, all we can do is to wait for Installous 6 to be released. We are able to try Installous 5 for iOS 6 with some success but we have to admit that it has its fair share of errors and glitches, so keep that in mind when installing Installous on iOS 6.

Before Installing Installous 5:

Before you can even hope to install Installous, you will need to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPad touch. So in case you haven't jailbroken your iOS device yet, you can refer to our guide on how to jailbreak iOS 6 into your iPhone and iPod touch (A4-based devices only).

Steps on How to Download & Install Installous on iOS 6:

1. After successfully jailbreaking your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to iOS 6, launch Cydia by clicking its icon from the Springboard.
2. While in Cydia's Home screen, tap the Manage tab which is found at the bottom of the screen. On the next screen, tap Sources.

1. Tap the Edit button located at the top-right followed by a tap on Add button which will then appear at the top-left. When asked for the Cydia/APT URL, enter the following: http://cydia.hackulo.usthen tap Add Source, then on the next dialog, tap Add Anyway.

1. After you have added the Hackulo.us repo, Cydia will now proceed to update its repo database which should only take a few moments. Once the update process is finished, tap the Return to Cydia button that will appear.

1. Now all we need to do is to search for Installous. Return to the main menu of Cydia, tap theSearch tab which is found at the bottom of the screen. Key in "Installous" into the search bar without the quotes.

1. The search results should display numerous versions of Installous. What we need of course is Installous 5, so go ahead and tap that version from the search results.

1. Tap Install which is found at the top right of the screen and then on the next screen, tap Confirm. Doing this will install Installous 5 and once the process is done, just tap Return to Cydia and reboot your device for good measure.

How to Download Cracked Apps Using Installous on iOS 6?

Now that you have successfully installed Installous on your device, you can now download and install cracked apps. In this supplementary guide, we will teach you how to use Installous to download and install cracked apps.

How To Install iOS 6 On iPhone, iPad, iPod touch The Right Way

iOS 6 was first announced a couple months back at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, otherwise known as WWDC ’12, and with the iPhone 5 showcased last week in a well documented Yerba Buena-based affair, Apple also revealed the latest iteration of its famous mobile ecosystem would be landing on 19th. True to its word, the company has made the final version of iOS 6 available to download for the masses today.
You might be eager to dive in and get to grips with the exciting new features like Maps, Passbook, and the Facebook integration, among many other changes, but it’s important to ensure you carry out the upgrade correctly to avoid any data loss and such.

Sure, the steps are simple enough but if, for example, you’re jailbroken, you’ll especially need to heed the following pointers to ensure you can revert to your jailbroken iOS iteration in future. There’s nothing worse than being stuck, unable to downgrade or jailbreak, and waiting for weeks or even months for a jailbreak to appear. It takes the developers quite a while to discover vulnerabilities in Apple’s firmware, and with every new major release, that task becomes a little more difficult.
With the above in mind, we’ve compiled a peace-of-mind tutorial to ensure your upgrade to iOS 6 is as smooth as it should be.
Note:

• If you rely on unlock, do not update to iOS 6 yet.
• There is no untethered jailbreak available for iOS 6. The only jailbreak iOS 6 available is of tethered variety, and that too is only limited to iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod touch.

Step 1: First and foremost, backup your device. You can do so via iTunes, or by using iCloud. It matters little which one you pick, so long as your data and settings are securely backed-up.
Step 2: If you’re jailbroken on iOS 5.1.1, you’ll need to save your SHSH blobs before Apple stops signing that firmware. This can be done using the latest version of Redsn0w under "Extras" or by using programs like TinyUmbrella.
Step 3: Download and install iTunes 10.7 from here. This is required by the final version of iOS 6.
Step 4: If you’re not jailbroken, then installing via OTA (over-the-air) is most certainly your best bet, and you can achieve this by heading to Settings > General > Software Update. If you are jailbroken, then installing via iTunes is your best bet.


Step 5: To perform a fresh install if you’re not jailbroken, download iOS 6, and in iTunes, ensure you hold down the left SHIFT key on your PC or OPTION key on Mac, which will enable you to browse to the firmware file.
And that’s it! Once you’ve installed, you’ll be ready to enjoy all the goodies offered by the new iOS 6!

Apple claims that iOS 6 brings about 200 new features but the noteworthy ones are right there in the bullets above. Depending on where your comfort level is, the major feature can either be the new Maps, the improved Siri or the Facebook integration.
Many people expected to see more from Apple this year but few really had a clear idea what that is. Being "wowed" by Apple has been a legitimate expectation for millions of users out there but those who think their creativity peaked in iOS 4 and the iPhone 4, and has been somewhat flat since, may have a point.
The iOS 6 isn't a dramatic rethink of the design philosophy but brings a reasonable level of change, and improvement, to many important parts of the experience, which will be felt in day to day use.

How to install:

1. After flashing your ace with 2.3.5 or 2.3.6 unofficial ROM install clockwork recovery 5 on your ace. download it from the link given above
2. don't extract the .zip file. just put it on your sd card(don't put it any of your sd card folder)
3. now switch off your phone and start it in maintenance mode by pressing HOME & POWER KEY       TOGETHER
4. android recovery menu will come in-front of your eyes.
5. now choose "apply update from sd card" by pressing the home button
6. now locate the .zip file and install it. now reboot your phone.
7. now switch off your phone & restart it on recovery mode. now you'll see that all things has been changed.it's the clock work mode 5.
8. this is for checking that CWM5 is working or not.  :-P
9. now download ICS ROM
10. put this on your sd card & switch off your phone & start it in CWM5.
11. now select 'wipe data/factory reset' & reset all data.
12. after this select 'wipe cache partition' & format your cache partition
13. after this select 'install zip from sd card' & locate & install the ICS ROM zip
14. it'll take some minute.
15. after finishing flashing press your power key to come back on main CWM5 menu(DON'T PRESS TOO LONG)
16. now reboot your phone.
17. first boot takes up to 7 to 8 minutes. don't be impatient :-P
18. now your phone is running on the ICS ROM!!!!!!!!

Rooting

How to Root galaxy ace

To root you ace you'll have to follow the following steps carefully:-

1.First you have download Update.zip

2.Do not extract the file.;

                            

3.Put  update.zip into SD card. 

4.Now you have to restart Your Galaxy Ace into Maintenance mode.

 To start Galaxy Ace in Maintenance mode first you have to

shut down your phone at first.

5.Now press (Power + Home) button. 

6.Now your phone is started in Maintenance Mode.

7.Scroll down one step to "apply update from SD card" you can scroll

down using you volume keys. 

8.Now press home button on option "apply update from SD card"

9.You have to locate update.zip and press home button.

10.Now updating will start and it'll take a few minutes.

11. After rebooting your phone, you'll find a "super user" app on your phone. It is for granting permission for installing apps.
